HLH Skate Analysis is a hockey power skating analysis service. Contact us at support@hlhskateanalysis.com.

2. Data We Collect

• Account Information: Parent name, email, and password.
• Player Information: Player name, age, position, and team.
• Video Data: Skating videos you upload for analysis.
• Analysis Data: Skating metrics, scores, and AI-generated reports.
• Payment Information: Handled entirely by Stripe, we never store card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide skating analysis, scores, and personalized training recommendations.
• To send analysis reports and account notifications by email.
• To improve the accuracy of our AI skating analysis models over time.
• To process subscription payments through Stripe.

4. Video Storage and AI Improvement

Videos are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 and used solely to analyze skating mechanics. The original video you upload is kept for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted. The processed analysis video, the one with the skating overlay that you watch in your account, is kept for as long as you keep the player, and is removed when you delete the player or ask us to remove it. Extracted body-position data (joint angles and stride mechanics, sometimes called pose data) is kept while your account is active and is automatically deleted no later than three years after the player's most recent analysis. This movement data is used to produce your analyses; it is used to help improve our analysis models only if you have opted in, a separate choice you can turn on or off at any time in your account. Raw videos and personally identifiable data will never be shared publicly or sold to third parties. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@hlhskateanalysis.com.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

All accounts for players under 18 must be created by a parent or guardian. We do not collect personal information directly from minors under 13. Parents or guardians must provide consent before any data about a minor is collected or processed. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not share minors' data with third parties for marketing. Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time.

5a. Biometric Data

Our service analyzes body movement patterns from uploaded videos. This may constitute biometric data under applicable state laws including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). By using our service, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of this movement data for the sole purpose of providing skating analysis. We do not sell, lease, or trade biometric data. We keep this movement (biometric) data only while your account is active and permanently destroy it within three years of the player's most recent analysis, or sooner if you request deletion. Using this data to improve our models requires your separate, revocable opt-in, recorded at signup and changeable at any time in your account.

5b. Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)

As a Virginia-based business, we comply with the VCDPA. Virginia residents have the right to: access their personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete their data, and obtain a copy of their data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@hlhskateanalysis.com.

6. Data Sharing

• Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic: AI analysis via Claude API. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Law enforcement: Only if required by law.
